National Carbon Market Prices Fell 2.10% on April 30, with Total Carbon Emission Allowance Transactions Reaching 818,555 mt [Daily Trading Report]

April 30 News:

Today's comprehensive price quotation for China's national carbon market is as follows: opening price at 72.35 yuan/mt, highest price at 72.35 yuan/mt, lowest price at 71.40 yuan/mt, and closing price at 71.46 yuan/mt. The closing price fell by 2.10% compared to the previous day.

Today, the trading volume of listed agreement transactions was 106,250 mt, with a turnover of 7,448,760.00 yuan; the trading volume of block agreement transactions was 712,305 mt, with a turnover of 49,189,417.50 yuan.

Today, the total trading volume of national carbon emission allowances was 818,555 mt, with a total turnover of 56,638,177.50 yuan.

From January 1 to April 30, 2025, the trading volume of national carbon market emission allowances was 12,369,603 mt, with a turnover of 1,016,904,593.47 yuan.

As of April 30, 2025, the cumulative trading volume of national carbon market emission allowances was 642,638,267 mt, with a cumulative turnover of 44,049,631,696.98 yuan.

Before the establishment of the national carbon emissions trading institution, the national carbon emissions trading information is released and supervised by the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Exchange").

Except for the national carbon emissions trading information publicly disclosed by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, no other institution or individual is allowed to publish public information such as the comprehensive price quotation of the national carbon market and the trading status of carbon emission allowances for each year without the consent of the Exchange. If reprinting is necessary, the source must be indicated. The Exchange has the right to pursue legal liability against any institution or individual that unlawfully publishes, republishes without indicating the source, or republishes national carbon emissions trading information not released by the Exchange.
